Dr. Ghosh has over four decades of diverse experience across Corporate, Regulatory and Compliance practices, bringing a strong understanding of policy, governance, and complex legal frameworks. He has held leadership roles at the Ministry of Finance, contributing to high-level decision-making, regulatory oversight, and strategic implementation of government initiatives.
Dr. Ghosh combines public sector insight with practical corporate advisory experience to deliver balanced, solution-oriented counsel. Dr. S.N. Ghosh has previously served as Executive Director (Finance & Legal) and Company Secretary of a listed company for over three decades, overseeing board governance, compliance, investor relations, and financial restructuring. He also provided corporate, securities and banking law advisory services to domestic and international clients.
Dr. Ghosh will lead the Regulatory Policy Research vertical at S K Attorneys, supported by a team of experienced advocates with strong, hands-on expertise in policy research and the financial regulatory ecosystem.
The vertical will undertake rigorous, evidence-based research aligned with global best practices, with periodic publication of analytical commentaries and reviews on concept papers, regulatory interventions, impact assessments, and key regulatory developments across India and major international jurisdictions. He has served as Executive Director (Finance & Legal) and Company Secretary of Modi Rubber Ltd., a publicly listed company, for over three decades, where he managed complex board governance, regulatory compliance, investor relations, and financial restructuring at the highest levels. Following this, he transitioned into a senior policy and regulatory advisory role, advising government authorities, regulators, and market infrastructure institutions on regulatory strategy, supervisory frameworks, and market integrity measures.
